WHAT: The MAMA TOUR 2010 Presentations, free and open to the public.

WHERE:  All across Oregon.

WHEN:  April 26th to May 8th.

WHY:  Because the people deserve to know the truth.

WHO:  You and everybody you tell.

Since 1982 Mothers Against Misuse and Abuse (MAMA) has been dedicated to reducing the harm from all drug use and from drug policy. MAMA's approach is based on personal responsibility and informed decision making, with respect for human dignity. MAMA is sponsoring a tour of Oregon to talk with the public about the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program and other drug policy issues. To whit:

  • California is prepared to vote on legalizing cannabis for adults.

  • 15 states have medical marijuana laws.

  • In Oregon over 36,000 patients are registered in the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program.

It is time to discuss the efficacy of marijuana prohibition. Join us to hear the real life experiences of those who would like to see change.

  • Howard Wooldridge, a law enforcement officer for 18 years, now retired, will share his knowledge about the impact of prohibition on society.

  • Alice Ivany will discuss her knowledge as a medical marijuana patient for 9 years.
